How long does a crush usually last?

And how long is too long?

A lifetime.

Until they get to know a person and dislike their flaws.

it varies. But as long as hope + uncertainty lasts, the crush will last.

For a woman: until she's crushed by the executive functioning requirements of her household, family, and ungrateful job and has absolutely not time left for BS like crushes on some guy who by now is probably married and delegating all his personal life to a wife and all his professional life to a smarter woman than him.
That's when.

+1. I pined for a good friend for years. YEARS.

I finally made a move, we started dating, and within a couple months I realized I had made a terrible mistake. The things I liked about him turned out to be grating.

A crush is over after the first time you have sex with that person and realize it ain’t all that...

How old are you?

I crushed over someone for years, and then it finally happened! And then I realized that though they were very physically attractive, they weren't actually a good person. Crush ended.

I crushed over someone for years and found that they actually were a really good person after getting to know them. Still not over it.

6-18 months unless you have sex with them and the chemistry isn't there. Then it can end quickly

Therapy. After you get therapy.

Agreed with everyone else

It will last until you find flaws in them or have an intimate moment and then the chemistry isn’t there

However, if you’ve passed this point and you still like the person it’ll last a lifetime

Till someone comes and blows them out the water

Don’t these two contradict each other?

Anyway, that is more like limerence.
