Soccer Clubs PPP Loans

Not trying to start off a long thread, but was interested and found it interesting that the Big-3 in the DMV, Bethesda, Loudoun, Arlington soccer associations got PPP loans for $350K. Several others in the area were that much, or in the $150K range, i.e. Alexandria. Good for them, we need these clubs to be around when kids can get back to games.

OP here,, Nope, not an Alexandria parent, but was curious about Alexandria due to its own financing issues.

All y’all need to get lives. The money mentioned above is less than a third of my annual income. Really interesting for those who like to split the check at KFC, I guess.

Good for them. And yes hope they all survive. I’m not sure we will have games this fall and am fine if not deemed safe. But the Practices have been great for our kids especially when school looks uncertain Our coaches And parents are taking the covid requirements seriously

I agree. There are many multi-billion dollar businesses that got $2-$5 million dollar PPP loans too.
