I am beginning the process of looking for a pediatrician and would like recommendations for doctors you love in Bethesda or Chevy Chase. I have a list from my OB, but I'm looking to cross-reference and to see if there are others who are really highly recommended who I should consider. Thanks! |
we like Dr. Maria Pearl of Capital Medical Group on Conn Ave in Chevy Chase. She's kind, loves kids (she's a mom) and it's a big practice with lots of MDs, after hours coverage, lactation consultants, etc..Only negative is the front desk clerks with attitude, and a few nurses i'm not impressed by, but overall, very convenient and user friendly group. |
We see Dr. Giorgio Kulp in N. Bethesda (practice is Metropolitan Pediatrics). It's a hike to get there from DC where we live but totally worth it. It's a tiny, ridiculously friendly practice where you will know the office staff and nurses by name within a month and Dr. Kulp himself is great. I went to one of the huge, rude OB practices downtown and knew I needed the opposite in a pediatrician and thankfully we found it and then some. Congratulations to you! |
In kensington we really like Dr June Fusner. More flexible and a great Nurse Practisioner as well |
I second the recommendaiton for Dr. Pearl. We actually just saw her this AM for our son's 2 year check-up and it reminded me how awesome she is. |
We've been happy with Bethesda Pediatrics in Cabin John (Seven Locks Rd.). We've liked all the doctors. The office staff is fine and they can always fit you in when needed. They have Saturday hours, which is nice, too.

I second the recommendation for Dr. Fusner at Kensington Pediatrics. Small practice and very nice, friendly staff all around.

Brasch and Goldstien, Chevy Chase |
2nd Brasch and Goldstein. They are great, and regularly are mentioned on the board if you want to do a search. They are in Chevy Chase, DC near Friendship Hts. metro |
3rd Brasch & Goldstein. We still miss Dr Doe, but the new guy, Dr Douglas has been really great the two times we've seen him. |
