And this is why all the people arguing that their kids should be able to play because the virus isn't really that bad for kids, or that they're not around high risk people should re-evaluate.
Yes, this is one study, and who knows...but why would you risk exposing your child to covid when we have no idea what the long term effects might be?

So don't. Others have a different view on life and a rational view on relative risks, including the risks of keeping your kids caged in a plastic bubble, particularly at critical stages of intellectual, social and psychological development.

Wow...if you put playing soccer on the same level as going to school...don't even know what to say.

It is people like you who keep people home. When you show zero regard for the potential consequences your actions tend to force the issue of:
1. Potentially spreading the disease through casual disregard of protocols
2. Keeping people away from doing things they might be able to do safely if they felt they could trust you to do the same.

You are absolutely collectively off your rockers. I follow all protocols and take this seriously. My point is that if your child is in school, they are at risk for all of the above. In no way do I equate playing soccer with going to school. But if your child is in school, the incremental risk of playing is not substantial. If you cannot follow this logic, you cannot follow it. So be it.

Stay home please, and feel free to do so. And try to calm down a bit. You aren't nearly as smart and worth saving as you think yourself to be, though I am sure your kids would appreciate your calming down a tad.
