3-night cruise w/o 1 year old?

Anonymous
Hi all - FTM Mom here and could use some advice/experience with taking a 3-night cruise without our baby (she'll be just about 1 year old at the time). We've only been away from her for one-night before (wedding that she was not invited to! ), but are sort of excited about a little getaway for the two of us. Our baby would be with both sets of grandparents (she adores them both and the g-parents are super excited about the option), but I'm on the fence b/c 3 nights sounds like a long time. Thoughts? Advice? Will we regret not going? TIA for sharing your experiences.

Do it! I might even consider a 4 or 5 night, but 3 nights seems like a great idea.

I would do 3 nights, but not on a cruise because you couldn't get home quickly if something happened. I would only go somewhere with reasonably frequent and easy to access direct flights home.

Go. She'll never miss you. Do it now before she becomes more aware. In fact, go for a longer cruise.
