private preK/preschool or daycare spots in NW for fall?

Hello,
We are moving to DC (northwest area) from out of state this summer and are trying to secure school and/or daycare for our kids (2.5 and 4.5) which is of course complicated by the pandemic. Does anyone know of a school that has spots available?? assuming schools are even opening... Thanks!! |

| Try St Columba’s, CCBC, NCRC depending on where you live. Also look at NPS and Concord Hill for the older one if you’re willing to split them up (I don’t think they have 2’s classes). |

| You might have better luck with childcare centers, which are open right now, as opposed to some of the private schools with preschools that some are suggesting. |

| The Harbor School in Bethesda - outside of NW in Bethesday but not far depending on which neighborhood you are living in. If you are WFM, then the drive would be fine. Very small class sizes and because of this, kids can be there every day instead of alternating weeks like other privates. |

2 New Heights in Takoma Park recently reopened with strict COVID measures and I believe they have some openings. The center is brand new and spacious.
