Preschool Parents: Please help us with this survey!

Hello! I am the Director of Keshet Preschool located in Arlington, VA. Our school has been closed since March and we are working on a safe reopening for the fall. As you might imagine there will be many changes, accommodations, and precautions. I am asking for your help. If you have preschool age children (2-5) I’d appreciate if you would please fill out this short survey as honestly and completely as possible. We are trying to compile concerns and thoughts from as many preschool families as possible. Thank you so much for your help.

Done. Great idea to reach out to a wider audience.

Question though. You are not the first preschool director to indicate that masks are mandatory. Is this a requirement because young kids wont be able to maintain 6 feet of distance? Is there any wiggle room in this requirement or is it coming from the state? I only ask because K-12 has remained vague on the issue. Thanks!

Thank you for your participation. We are trying to follow the CDC guidelines which recommends everyone over the age of 2 wear a facemark. I feel it is important to do everything we can to mitigate the spread of the virus and follow the recommendations of the experts.. It’s not easy to mix best medical advice with best ECE practice.

Agreed. It is the hardest to reconcile with the littlest ones.
