PK4 - accepting a waitlist offer in this COVID climate

We have identical twins. In a normal year, getting a waitlist offer for both from LAMB would be a no-brainer. We have always wanted a school with Spanish and LAMB is a dream. Now, with COVID and all the unknowns, its hard to visualize enrolling into a new school . New friends, unknown rhythms, all that.... How are others reckoning with this?

With Pk4, I’d consider this year a wash. Snag the LAMB spot while you have chance and hope for normalcy 2021.

The alternative is EL Haynes.

Take the spot at the school you want long-term. All schools will look like some version of distance/hybrid learning and your children will get to meet new friends and get used to new teachers.

I definitely agree with this. If you have the option, choose the school you want for years to come.
