Wait List at St. Anthony's

We just put our name on the waitlist at St. Anthony's for our 8 month old. I'm wondering how long people have waited in the past and how long people currently waiting have been on the waitlist.

It is really hard to say. Most people though wait over a year and closer to 2 years. We appear to almost be off the list for our kids and have been on for a little over a year. They expanded recently, so that may help move things quicker...I know people who have been on the list for over 2 years though depending on age...

I got on the wait list in March 2006 before my son was born. Once he was born I used to call monthly to see where we were on the list. We didn't get a call until November 2009 that he had a spot. By that time we were already at another acredited center that we are more than happy with so we turned down our spot.

We have been on the waitlist for almost 3 years. I didn't even remember until I just read this post...Maybe they lost our application or something.
We ended up at Bright Horizons Innovation Station near King Street metro. Extremely happy.

We got a call off the wait list after about a year, but it was only because we kept calling to check and show we were interested. However, when you do get that call, you need to act incredibly quickly. I was away from my desk in a one hour meeting when they called, called back immediately after getting the message, and the spot had been given away to someone else.
