Trying this subject again to get a landscape view.
For fall 2020 season (travel only) please provide: Club name Refund policy, if any Your plans as of now for your kid (play or sit out) Loudoun No refund policy Unsure |
Hahaha so hilarious. They created a phony flyer (that really needs people to the tune of 600k? My marketing class students can do so much better with less) that according to them “explains WHY Loudoun couldn’t/can’t refund” hard working families THEIR hard earned money and now you’re telling us that fall ALSO does not have refund policy. They also state on their social media pages that “they’ve learned the lesson and are working hard to regain the community’s trust.” So once again, they are lying through their teeth when they say they’ll provide refunds in the fall in case there’s a covid 2.0. This is becoming now insulting. But remember, human beings are the ONLY animal that stumbles twice upon the same rock. Seriously, how are people still throwing their cash at them?! They’re laughing at you all the way to the bank. Oh btw OP, you have TONS of options. I’m not sure why you’re still unsure. It’s a no brained. Maybe you worry too much about being part of the “in” folks? Once again for the people in the back. Fool me once - shame on you. Fool me twice? I like it up in my rear or shoved in my throat. |
| Why is there so much discussion here about a soccer club that is closer to West Virginia than DC? Who cares about Loudon? Is Leesburg actually a real place? |
| All clubs have the same policy. This is a white suburban sport. Sign off if you can’t pay, no club has refunded anything, no club is refunding. |

Correction. Policy for Loudoun recently clarified. Refunds for fall 2020 will be offerred along with 10% credit from spring.
How about your club? |

15% for lmvsc, but we lost literally 1/3 of our players last season (mostly top teams), and it seems like there’s been a drip drip drip of players leaving this season. i’d rather take 10% off with a competent leadership than 50% off from lmvsc. btw that 15% is less than every big club in our area, which, we have to decide which one to go to. there just recycling old ideas instead of actually considering how to teach our players. |
| 2nd wave puts a lot of clubs out of business. Current coaches may be looking for new jobs. |
DC has no soccer. Just riots and moronic politicians. |
| Loudoun Soccer is planning to do the same thing with parents funds that they did in the spring. |
| So far several trolls and only two decent, meaningful responses. Come on folks, please share your experiences. Would love to have a factual comparison. Thx. |
Does West Virginia Rural Moms and Dads message board have a soccer forum? Perhaps you can find out what Charles Town soccer is doing and use that as your factual comparison. |
Yes. "DC united" has heard of Loudoun and is soon to be training close to the WVa border. Yes, who cares about Loudoun? Poster is obviously nother dumb rich parent with a spoiled kid looking to make the cut on Stoddert's fourth team who obviously doesn't know how to spell the name of a county that has far more influence over an actual election of significance than anything in DC. Please continue and further your education before posting idiocy like this. Another transplant who should not stick around. |
