Arlington ADP - register for rec now?

With ADP tryouts delayed indefinitely, should I register my kid for rec as a placeholder? He declined a travel slot for logistical reasons, so I think he’s likely to make ADP. But I don’t want to bet on that and leave him without a rec slot.

The kids who were in adp last year are automatically in again this fall since they lost a season, so that’s something to keep in mind. There will probably be some attrition, but who knows how many open spots there will be.

Thanks - this is U9 so no returning players I don’t think (although I’m new at this obviously).

ADP is a total joke. If you passed on a travel spot, save your money and go to rec.

We played a season with ADP and while of course the pool practice is good exposure to travel coaches, the games and regular practices are coached by dads and moms.

ADP robs parents.

Not sure about U9 but ADP for current players has begun registering again.
