NCSL Season - Drop Dead Date?

Anonymous
Clubs are all getting ready in the event play is allowed and seasons start in the fall.

Question: is there a drop dead date for NCSL to decide on season with field permits, scheduling, commitments etc?
Seems they can’t just move sideways indefinitely.

Question: is NCSL going to take team/club fees for a season before a season is allowed?

Question: is NCSL prepared to play a season in VA but no season in Md if necessary due to permissions?

Question: not to rain on parade but why would public schools allow clubs field permits after school or on weekends in phase 3?

our club is not taking anything past an initial deposit (less than $300) until they have confirmation that there will be fall. They anticipate taking a second payment mid to lat august (they play EDP and NCSL)

Haven't seen drop dead dates. I believe there was a July 13 date for team transfers.

I imagine NCSL will take fees in anticipation of a season being allowed with some sort of refunds if it gets cancelled.

I doubt a season will happen if teams can't have home games given your VA yes, MD no example - but these are interesting times. Given that it would mean MD teams are likely not fully practicing in your example however, I would think they wouldn't do it that way.

Why wouldn't schools allow permits? As long as clubs are obeying the rules.

Schools are already allowing permits for team practices in Fairfax county. The clubs must follow the guidelines but many practices have already taken place.

They are issuing permits for school fields in Fairfax now? I have only seen practices on county fields.

If MD teams wanted to play and VA teams are willing, then all game can be located in VA instead of VA. (Assuming there’s are adequate numbers of available fields.)
