Don't know how old your kids are, but if they're over six or seven check out www.hoopeducation.com

You could check with the libraries and book stores to see if they have an age-appropriate story time.
I am a nanny and I have will have two 5 1/2 yr olds next week. We are going to Dave & Busters, Museum of Natural History and swimming at the rec center. If they are still bored, we will go to the Air & Space museum too (they have a hands-on exhibit). I make a big thing of it and we pack a lunch and ride the metro. I am also going to visit the Michael's this weekend and get some craft stuff to do. I am going to try to sqeeze in some time for making their own pizzas as well. |

This is the nanny pp. I forgot to add that you can sign up at our-kids.com for lists of activities. They charge a small fee for the year. Most of the activities are for small children, but it may be worth checking out the site.
