Hi I have kids about the same age. I'm not sure what you'd like to spend. There is a wide range of price and quality...I loved the Pottery Barn sets. But they were way too much $ for us right now. We actually went low-end, broke down and bought from Wal-Mart (and I hate WM!). They were dirt cheap and to be honest they arrived with a few (but mostly unnoticeable) dings, b/c they were shipped. We assembled them in a few hours, bought a couple $99 serta mattresses. They are surprisingly very sturdy and they actually look very cute in the room. Worth the price for us...

We got ours at Belfort Furniture. Solid wood, very sturdy, cost us about $1000. After having bunked beds for a year, it got on my nerves to change the sheets, so we separated them -- they separated into equal twin beds, each with a nice headboard and footboard.
Stanley Young America makes great quality childrens furniture. google it
Land of Nod furniture is solid and well-built - at least it was a few years ago when we bought our son his bunk beds.
We got the most basic pine bunkbed set from IKEA. I think it was, let's see, maybe $130? It was so cheap, I really hesitated to buy it. But then I figured, if it totally sucks then at least I didn't spend very much. And guess what? It is awesome and has already been beaten like crazy by my boys. I'm convinced it can withstand anything. My DH actually slept on the top bunk one night, and it was as sturdy as can be. You need to assemble them yourself (obviously, it's IKEA) but it took DH and the boys about 2-3 hours and they had fun with it.
