I'm on the hunt for new bedding (duvet, pillows, sheets, etc.). I'm amazed that at Macy's a complete bedding set from the Hotel Collection can easily top $1000. Any suggestions on where to go for nice bedding that won't break the bank? I looked at JC Penney and everything was cheap but looked very "old lady." |
Have you tried:
Crane & Canopy Boll & Branch Pottery Barn Wayfair Joss and Main Overstock Bed Bath & Beyond |
https://www.brooklinen.com/
I’ve had their sheets for years, they’re affordable, and incredibly popular in the best hipster way. No brainer! |
Bed Bath & Beyond with a coupon. |
The Company Store online. |
OP what is your style and price point? You’ll get better answers if you share that information. |
It adds up quickly when you need (want?) to buy everything at once. We upgraded to a king bed last year and that meant all new bedding. Ouch.
It is a good time to buy, though, because retailers are struggling and offering discounts left and right. We bought sheets from Riley and Parachute. Love them. Duvet cover from Pottery Barn. Blanket from Boll and Branch. I don't think I paid full price on anything. Always look for discount codes. |

Target threshold sheets The pillows you like best from home goods |
I run a small hotel and have tried just about every brand of linens out there. For sheets, the winner is for nice feel/wears well/price is Target’s Threshold brand. It’s their slightly more expensive brand. You can wash them thousands of times and they feel the same. They also have deep corners with gathered elastic.
Personally, I love my IKEA comforter. It is warm in winter and cool in Summer, but it only comes in white. I hate duvet covers, but if you are a bedspread person, it’s a great piece for under that. |
I love the Target Threshold sheets, we have them in percale, linen blend and flannel and rotate them seasonally. We also have some nice quilts from them |
Target Threshold sheets are the bests.
I also have duvet covers from Pottery Barn and IKEA. The Pottery Barn are my favorite - they have a thicker feel, smooth finish, and look great. The IKEA duvet covers are thinner and oh so soft. |
The target threshold sheets are good but I adore my Coyuchi sateen sheets. |
This is good advice. West Elm also has nice bedding. |
As others have mentioned, I've been very happy with Target Threshold sheets and IKEA comforters. I also got a whole set of bed linens last year from Garnet Hill during their linen sale and absolutely love them. |
100% agree with Ikea duvets. They are great and not too $$$.
For a duvet cover, Overstock. Or Ikea -- although that's a specific aesthetic which may not be your taste. |
