I really like the name Gavin as a first, but I don't really see a middle name choice that works really well for it. Gavin Edward might work, but it really depends on how it flows with your last name. The others, I think, would go with most last names.

I think Margaret Kay (as PP suggested) goes best with Rosemary Ann.

For a boy's name I like Gavin a lot, and the only name that sounds right to me with it is Edward.

I like Patrick Alan. But I assume people will call him Pat, which I don't love.

Does Rosemary have a nickname?

I love the name Kathleen, but I really don't like the nickname Kay. I like all the other nicknames that exist for Kathleen.

For girls, I vote for Kathleen Margaret, Bridget Kathleen, Kathleen Kelly, or Bridget Kelly.

For boys, I like Gavin Edward, Patrick Kelly, or Edward Alan.

If they were my kids, I'd pick Patrick Kelly and call him Kelly. And Helen Kathleen.

I wouldn't go for Kay as a middle name. Because it sounds like an initial.

While Margaret Kay sounds lovely, it will sound like she is saying "Margaret K." She will be forever asked, "no, what is your middle name?"

But I like Margaret Helen. And Alan Edward. But they're all great names.
