Anyone get letters today?

Would love to know.

Yup - River. No for DD / PK and yes for DS / Toddler 2 day AM. Anyone know how many spots were open for PK there?

Are you considering sending your son to a school that won't also take your daughter?

Is it common for schools to do that?

I'd like to know the answer to that too - is it common for schools to treat sibs differently when they apply at the same time?

What is the age for prek for River?

I think it's three. They have a full day and half day program. But lots of working parents and extended day options. A few people in the neighborhood consider it an expensive daycare center. Definitely not a feeder school - something to think about.

Thank you, that is very helpful. We have been excepted, but we know that we would be leaving early and we are worried about how much assistance the administration will provide.

I have never heard this before and that's not what I saw on the tour. Where did you hear this from?

While I wouldn't say River is a feeder school like some of the other schools mentioned in various posts, I wouldn't call it an expensive daycare center either. From what I observed and what I have heard from other River families, it is a fine school where children thrive.
