Extreme moodiness as side affect to Ovidrel?

I have done two IUI cycles, both on Letrozole + Ovidrel (I have PCOS). Both times I’ve had extreme moodiness, I’m guessing as a side affect to the Ovidrel since it occurred in the days after IUI. I tend to be very sensitive to medications — I had to try many different types of BC years ago to find one that didn’t cause mood swings.

Has anyone else had this issue? Have you found anything that helped, or tried other medication instead?

Definitely possible, though I would guess it’s more likely the progesterone. Progesterone makes me totally miserable

You mean you took progesterone supplements? I did not to that

Oh, my mistake then. I just assumed you were on progesterone. Then yes, I would absolutely blame the Ovidrel. That's a lot of hormones! Also because why not? Fertility drugs make everyone crazy, when in doubt, blame the drugs.

Ha! You’re right. I wonder if there’s a way I can try with a different drug next time. I saw there are some alternatives to Ovidrel
