I know MoCo’s are closed unless in a state park.
Fairfax is open. Are they open in DC? PG county? Anne Arundel? If you think playgrounds are unsafe, don’t answer. Looking for facts on where they are open not what you think of the policy. |
I'm in PG county and ours is still roped off so idk. |
Uuhhh... You realize you can go over or under the ropes and use the playground, right? Nobody actually cares. The police aren't going to come and throw you in prison. |
OP here. I am raising my kids that we follow rules, even if we don’t like them and they are easy to break without getting caught. |
I don't want to be the person in the neighborhood who does that though. |
I’m in Fairfax where the playgrounds are open. That said, I’d never do that, because some social media vigilante is assuredly going to come around and take pictures and video to post and shame on Nextdoor and local FB groups. I do agree that the cops have better things to do, but Karen and Kevin from around the corner probably don’t. |
Haha...That doesn't bother me. I've been quite vocal that I don't recognize my HOAs decision to close the playgrounds. I told them if they could prove to me that they passed the rule at an open meeting and with proper notice that I would follow it. But at that point I was already quite sure they just did it over email. |
The playground at Watkins Regional is closed, so I'm thinking not PG. |
I rode by Walker Mill Park today and there were definitely kids on the playground. |
Not yet in DC. Maybe Friday with Phase 2. |
Playgrounds are still closed in Arlington. |
