SAM and other summer leagues

Anyone doing this? Even if it's 5v5 there's now way to socially distance during a game...

We aren’t doing a Summer league but that’s not totally coronavirus related. We generally avoid the 12 month schedule to let kids have time to recover and work other muscles. Of course the Spring was kind of a break, but we are focusing on individual fitness training and ball control this Summer rather than meaningless games.

These are the programs run out of the Germantown Soccerplex. It's a recreational/select league with clinics and winter programs.

In SAM. It’s a good Fall / spring program and at select level certain ages/ gender gets some decent competition comparable to some levels of travel. It’s fees are reasonable and draws on a wider more diverse population than pay to play travel.

Can’t comment on this summer.
