zoo camps--are they good?

would like to know how the camps are at the national zoo

My daughter attended the half day camp(K-1) for two weeks last summer (she was 5) and absolutely loved it! They had a daily snack, each day she came home with a cool art project and all the staff I interacted with were very nice and professional. I would have let her do it all summer, except I work a full day, and 9-12 was a bit tough to manage.

thanks for the info. i see that some weeks are a full day and some are a half-day (for the little ones). i, too, would love to put my K daughter in zoo camp this summer but because i work a regular 9-5, i'll have to go with a camp with consistent full day coverage. too bad
