Does anyone know if there are any good Online Soccer Camps being offered this Summer that you can recommend?
My DD has used Techne but she finds it very boring. (Please don’t preach me that it’s safe to do outdoor in-person camps. It’s my wife that is 100% against it.) Thanks, |
What if you went out to the field and helped her? |
thats rude. everyone doesn't have that time or expertise, energy, may have health or joint problems. Or some kids just dont respond to their parents like they do coaches. OP- Im not sure but you may also try posting this in the camp forum. |
| you might also find a high schooler or college aged kid to do lessons. |

I know someone who is using this and likes it.

| Soccer online? I am extremely sorry for you. |
Obviously, we can't get tone from reading but my intent wasn't to be rude. I was just throwing that out there because often parents think that it's rocket science to go out to the field with their kid and have a nice productive session FOR FREE and you get to spend time with your kid. For example, kid can do footskills, try to dribble past you and shoot. They can just shoot at you. You can toss them ball and they volley them to you. You can throw them balls they can trap and turn. Things like this. Obviously, if the parent doesn't have time or has health conditions or whatever, this won't work, but parents, don't sell yourself short. You can be a productive training buddy for your kid. Oh and believe me....I know all about their kid not wanting to train with their parent. Sometimes it backfires! But if this interests parents, start a new post and I bet lots of people can give ideas of activities that are easy enough for the average soccer parent to do with their kid. It's just an idea. |
Now THIS is rude! : ) |
How so? Care to explain? Please and thank you!

I do this regularly with my DD. I learned what I can learn from YouTube videos about foot skills, etc. but I did not play soccer growing up.....just basketball/football. Hence, my hope is that coaches can teach her things that I can’t. She can do passes/kicks with both feet, croquettas, elasticos, juggling, etc. but all of those were from YouTube. LOL. |
And here's the things...they can always get better at the basics. So keep doing what you are doing. You can even look up Partner Drills on You Tube. Lots of great drills than even a former basketball playing tackle footballer can do with their kid. : ) |
I believe coerver is running them. |
Thanks for the advise. |
| Coerver is running sessions right now. I believe Golden Boot is also. |
