We have a 2004 Volvo that keeps bleeding us with repairs. If fixed up it can run well, but it's reached the point where it's not sensible to throw good money after bad, and I doubt anyone would want to buy it except for maybe a project. Body is in rough shape too.
What's the best way to get rid of a car in this situation? Donate? Try to sell it for a few hundred $$? |

| You might be able to sell to a Volvo enthusiast. If you only want a few hundred post that there will be no test drives. If you want to try to get over $1000 for it you will need to put up with people test driving it. |
