Just saw the text. Fall term 2020 will be online only.
Some of the professors there are really quite old.

I gather you went "to the other place"? Dean Manning is only 58. Some of the professors were getting up in years when I was there but that's changed. Go look at the photos online. Everyone is now computer-literate and able to Zoom. i had a Harvard class agent meeting just yesterday by Zoom. No issues.

LOL, imagine being dumb enough to pay $100k for bullshit “online learning”. What a scam!

It was a scam when I was there in person, LOL

In all seriousness, of many professions, law is well-suited to zoom meetings. It's not like you are doing anything important, like cutting open a body.

It’s about getting the HLS degree.

Don’t be ridiculous. They’re paying for the piece of paper with their name printed under Harvard.

You are also paying the networking and experience, neither of which you get to the same degree online. If it is only a semester, it isn’t a huge deal. Beyond that, you really would be losing some value.

My dad is an attorney and when I was a child, I told him his job was to have conference calls because every time I would go to his office that is all he would do. I'm pretty sure 90% of his job is having conference calls and video conferences/calls, even prior to the pandemic.
