| I always drove BMW, bought them new and kept them for 10+ years. But I no longer love what they are making now. If you were a fan of BMW and switched to another brand, and love it, what is your new favorite? I don't care much about SUVs, but I can consider cross-over. Prefer either sedan or two-door, with powerful engine (but nothing too crazy, I am a middle age woman). I tried Tesla and I dont' like it. I prefer to keep it under $50k. Any suggetions? |
| Mercedes. |
| Audi |
| I don’t care but make sure you get one with a working turn signal this time. |
| Acura |
BMW.

+1. |
| For luxury and reliability- Acura or Lexus. |
Good, reliable cars for sure, but they lack the “soul” of a BMW. If that’s important to OP I’d go with MB or Audi. -Acura owner |

OP - out of curiosity, what didn't you like about the Tesla?
Just got rid of my beloved BMW 540; needed more room for two kids & three animals, now have an Odyssey. Planning to get a Tesla Model S next year. |

Under 50k is tough. I walked by a black brand new 330i just tonight and was surprised at how I liked the style. I don’t know when they’ll start adding the ridiculous sized kidney grill.
If you must move on honestly a used E Class or actually even a new C class look pretty good these days. |
| Same situation as the owner of a 2001 525i. Decided to get another bmw. Nothing else compares. |
I’ve only driven BMWs since 1996 and recently I test drove a Range Rover Sport. Boy it was fun. But when my current BMW hits 12 years or a little more I suspect I’ll be like you and back to BMW! Really nothing compares. |
| This is going to sound weird, but try the Lincoln Corsair. I have one and my husband, who drives a BMW X3, loves it. |
NP, but I hated how the Tesla drove. It decelerated very quickly and was just jarring to drive. |
