Preschool and Daycare Discussion

Hi there,
My son is 14 months and I'm interested in programs that we might start a year or so from now. He's a November birthday so we'll be "late" starting the 3 year programs and I think he'll be ready for a program before he's almost 4. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks . |
| Try St Johns, NCRC, or Aidan Montessori |
| The 2 year old program at Franklin Montessori is great. Make sure you do a tour and get an application in on time as I think it's getting quite popular. |
| I have my 2.5 at Spring Valley Montessori and am very happy. |
| He won't be 2 1/2 by September, so St. John's / NCRC / Little Folks will not be options. But Intown, Little Graces, or Blue Igloo would be options, if you or a nanny could accompany him. Intown also has a drop-off option. |

Thanks everyone! We're happy with our nanny situation for another year but by then I think we're going to be ready for more structure.
13:21 - would you be williing to email about Spring Valley? Thanks again! |
| For a kid who won't be 2.5 by September, we've found the following options: Aidan, Franklin, and G'town Montessori, Wash Hebrew, Metropolitan, School for Friends. I'm sure there are others, but all offer part-time programs for "younger" 2s. |
| The DC JCC in Dupont Circle takes 2 year olds. |
