So the Moco police chief released a statement on the Minneapolis police killing

But he won’t on duncan Lemp who was killed by his own police force. They refuse to release body cam footage

I think it’s really good that police forces are starting to speak out against corrupt cops. The blue line used to be something that nobody would cross but now people are speaking up.

Same with the Takoma Park chief.

MOCO does not lead the investigation of police officer involved shootings in their county, a neighboring county does.

I would expect that police chief to make a statement about the shooting but not the officers/county under investigation.

He’s waiting for the Howard County States Attorney investigation to conclude. You know he can’t say anything til then.

That’s actually a great policy that increases the chances of officers being held accountable for their actions. Glad to hear it.

It's an excellent policy that should be implemented everywhere.

It really is. PG county is the county, though, so I wish it was a county with a cleaner record of its own.
