DCPS Health Forms

So they are not due until August 31. But how did we get our DS a physical before then if we are not in Phase 2? Are school physicals and dental exams considered an “essential” appointment?
Anonymous
Yes, they are. DC is also moving to phase 1 tomorrow. We've already heard from our dentist who is offering extended hours to help people get caught up with their care.

Do pediatricians use telehealth?
There is absolutely no way I'm taking my children to a pediatrician's or dentist's office without a serious emergency that cannot be death with via telehealth.

Get your kids vaccinated on schedule, people! Ask for in-car vaccination if you are truly concerned.

And yes most pediatricians are otherwise offering telehealth.

Depending on your kids age, the prior physical might be sufficient. At a minimum, get your ped to complete the form. It'll take them months to go through them and notice if any vaccinations are missing, but more likely than not you're fine.

Everyone knows what is going on. No one is going to get kicked ut of school because oof weird 2020 out of order vaccinations.

We did the wellness appointments through telehealth.
