Covid-19 Car Issue 🚗

Anonymous
Pre-Covid, I worked full-time during the week & did my grocery shopping 🛒 + errands on weekends so pretty much drove my 2009 Honda Accord 5-6x/wk.

Now I only drive it every 11-14 days to get groceries or go to the pharmacy.

The last two times my car would not even start.
I had to have my wife use the jumper cables to get it revved up, then had to keep the car running for at least 25 min. afterward.

What is wrong with my vehicle?

You need to run it every few days and probably need a new battery.

New battery.

Disconnect the line and clean if it looks dirty/messy. But eventually you will need a new battery.

How old is your battery?

Time for a new battery. $100 and 20 minutes.

Same problem. Yes, had to get a new battery. Cost was $169.

New battery, or you could try getting a solar powered trickle charger (assuming you don't park in a garage) to keep it charged.

Thx everyone for the helpful advice!
