Will we have to pay Daycare Tuition Starting June 8?

I’m not planning on sending my baby back anytime soon. But did anyone see this article? Do we have to start paying full tuition starting June 8?

That applies to the people that have been sending (or will send) their children to the essential personnel daycares the state organized.
It sounds like you previously had a daycare you were sending your child to. Your payment arrangement with that provider is between you and that provider. |

You'll probably have to start paying when your daycare opens full time, if you want to keep your spot. That is not what's happening June 8, it's likely a long way off.
Personally we are still paying our closed provider (as are the other families) so she can still cover expenses and pay her assistants. Happy to do it if it means we have a daycare to return to. I suspect many will not survive. |
