We have about 1.3 m saved for retirement. And about 1m equity in our home. We are both 40. Do you think we are on track?

ok, i'll bite. On track for what? Since this is the beauty and fashion forum I'd say yes you are on track to afford a pair of Tory Burch flats. I would wear them with bare legs rather than tights - I think tights look weird with the gold medallion.

I would agree with the PP. You are not, however, on track to buy a Bottega Veneta satchel which would be the ultimate. Keep trying!

I think the solution is to rip that stupid medallion off.
