Weird positive side-effect of COVID isolation

Four kids, two working parents and a nanny - and not one cold in two months. A record for us! No one has been sick with anything!

Yup. We have allergies but I just today remarked I haven't had many headaches the past two months, which I'm prone to. Like I've had maybe 2, when I would have had 6-10. Even when I'm not sick, but makes me wonder if they are actually often my only symptoms of something communicable?

Yeah! Same here. Wow!

Seriously I should have done this during the toddler years when they were sick all the time.

Same here ..I had been thinking of taking my youngest to get tested for allergies because his nose was always dripping before this happened

It's mostly from kids not going to school IMO. I work in an elementary school and I literally have not been sick at all this year whereas typically I have at least one cold and maybe the flu most years.

Same!

Also sleeping later. Adjusted schedule. I’m thrilled to not have a preschooler waking me up at 6 am, she cruises to 730 now naturally. Ah...my pillow

Yeah, that part has been a welcome relief.

Why would that be weird? You hide away from germs, you don't get germs.

Yeah, we all knew that, dear, but thanks for stating the obvious. What is weird for a lot of us is that fact that we just now realized it and how during the time of this deadly pandemic our families have never been healthier.
