| Showed up overnight and are gobbling up my tomatoes and artichoke and day lilies. I tried some vinegar and water with dish soap. Seems to help for now. Should I spray with neem oil each week? Nasty bugs. |
| Me too. White ones. I picked off as many as I could with my fingers and then gave the tomatoes a spray down. Will check them again tomorrow. I welcome any other advice. Oh and a squirrel are 3 of 4 of my almost ripe strawberries. Sigh. |
| Ladybugs eat aphids. Dawn dish soap and water has been my go-to. (Or Sevin dust!) |

I don’t think vinegar is a good idea.
Soap is fine but honestly just knock them off and squish a bunch when you think of it. They’re probably not doing much harm. Plus when you spray them, you probably kill a few lady bug larvae who are probably on there munching them so it may be a wash. That said, I did have a chive plant that got aphids this year and basically succumbed. So I know they can do serious damage, but ime they usually don’t. |
Aphids don’t usually gobble tomatoes. Do you have hornworms? They can quickly eat leaves
|
| I have them on my parsely and kale. Want them gone! |

I tried for about 2 weeks to fight the aphids, picking them off by hand, washing them off with soap, spraying them off with the hose...and tonight I gave up and sprayed them with sevin. Argh.

| Aphids are insane this year! |
| Ladybugs. |

Aphids love tomatos and daylilies. Of course I have them near each other’s.
Aphids covered them all. |
