This seems like an insurance nightmare waiting to happen. What happens when camper friend falls and breaks their arm?

Waivers are signed and we all move on without litigation.

That’s not going to work.

I think it’s a great idea. I’m not going to isolate our kids all summer.

I’d do it. My kids would have a blast with their friends. But instead of my house or backyard I’d rather it be hosted at a local park!

Why not? I know at least two groups that are considering it.

What’s the purpose of it? You can do camp (some will open) if you’re not afraid of exposure, plus do I want to host a bunch of kids in my yard ? In the heat? They will want to come in the house anyways and I get no work done.
It’s same situation as a camp, do camp or keep kids home with you or a nanny.

It doesn't sound like a bad idea to me. But my son is older (5th grade) and I would just expect the counselor to organize some sports etc. for the kids for the half day session. We already plan to let him see two friends after June 10.
