Sorry if TMI: I posted this in the Health and Medicine forum, but wondering if I could get input on the TTC forum... I am about halfway through my cycle (about 27 days long) and experienced a very strange bleed. A few days ago. I was going for a run and felt a gush of something coming out of my lady parts. Went to the bathroom and it was like the start of my period, bright red, but very quickly coming out, almost in a watery way (again, sorry if TMI!). I put a tampon in and chalked it up to getting my period 2 weeks early. But an hour later, I took my tampon out and it was basically empty. No bleeding since then. Maybe a little cramping, but it could be in my head. I took a pregnancy test today and it was negative. I think my DH and I had unprotected sex like 3 days after my last period ended? So I can't imagine I'm actually pregnant. I'm also 40 and was basically diagnosed with infertility in my mid-30's (suffered multiple miscarriages and failed rounds of IVF). I am calling my gyn tomorrow, but if it was a ruptured cyst or something, would I be in more pain? Is this a menopause thing?? Thank you. |
