Tyler dual?

Anonymous
We are leaning on buying a house in Capitol Hill after spending 8 yrs in NW - Adams Morgan area.
We are happy with our neighborhood school - Marie Reed - but will most likely switch my son to the new neighborhood school, which seems most likely, will be Tyler. Unfortunately, we didn’t do the lottery, so he would be in boundary. Does anyone know if they take bilingual in boundary kids at all in the immersion program? Or is the lottery the only way in? This is for first grade. He is Spanish dominant, so I would hope that would help.

This seems like a situation where contacting the school makes the most sense.
