| Does anyone use this and have any feedback (good or bad)? My contract with verizon is up this month, and I was considering switching to a prepaid plan to save money. I really only have my cell phone for emergencies, so I'm currently paying $40 a month and using it for less than 30 minutes a month. |
| Figure out the value based on amount of money/points and expiration date. And make sure the unused money rolls over. |

I have verizon prepaid an use it for "emergencies only" (never had one) and am easily able to keep non-emergencies well w/in the $ limit. I paid $30 for phone and $15/mo + tx for service w/no contract.
my main concern - and i told the sales clerk this - was max. coverage, as it is for emergencies and this ph. was recommended and i seem to have all same coverage as everyone else so that's good. BUT i recently replaced a lost wall plug which cost $20 so that pretty much blew the whole low-cost deal. almost. good luck. i recommend it. |
| I use a prepaid phone from another company. I top it up with cards. My husband also has one and he has his set up to automatically top up each month, but I think he spends needless extra money this way. My minutes roll over as long as I top up every 90 days, I believe. I find it a cost effective solution. |
