I am 35 years old and have been TTC for one year now without results.
I decided not to take anything except for the Prenatal multivitamins,eating healthy and exercise.
I usually get my monthly period latest on the 9th of everymonth.Like it should have been by Jan,9th but that didnt happen!!!!!(I have never ever missed my period)
I decided to buy the CVS pregnancy kit to check and the results came out as "Negative".
I am still hoping that the month completely ends without my period and that next month is the same.
Has anyone gone thru this?Could it be that am pregnant? Is it true that it takes about 2-3months for one to discover they are actually pregnant?

Your doctor should be able to tell you right now, with a simple blood test, whether or not you are pregnant. A home pregnancy test also should be able to detect a pregnancy if you use them after your period is due, although they sometimes malfunction.

My experience has been that the tests are very accurate when used correctly.

Unless you know if you ovulated, you don't really know if you're late yet. Most women have at least one anovulatory cycle a year, so that could be what's happened to you.

PP.I agree because something very similar happened and I got excited only to find I wasnt pregnant,i got so disappointed.O.P please see your doctor for best results.
