| I don't need to wash my hair every day, but I often do because any zap in my hair vanished after rolling on it all night. Will dry shampoo allow me to style it without washing my whole head? What does dry shampoo do? Thanks. |

Dry shampoo just helps to remove excess scalp oils by binding to them. You then remove the gunk by rubbing with a towel and brushing your hair.
I do minimal styling on my hair anyway, and one advantage to me of dry shampoo is not having to re-style. So I can't answer your other question! |
| I have very fine hair. Dry shampoo is great because it gives it volume. Great for fluffing up the hair for better styling the next day. |
Do you ever use dry shampoo, then immediately afterwards style your hair? |

The powder ones will not help with the style problems but the spray ones (because they make it a little damp) will allow you to re-style easily. I recommend the Ojon spray (I get mine at Sephora) for this. Spray the roots, bend over and bruch it throughly with a boar bristle/nylon briostle mixed brush, give it a quick shot at the roots with your blowdryer and restyle.* Works great.
*Note - I have long blonde hair, lots of strands and thick but on the "fine" side. It still gets greasy at 40 and I have to do something every day to make it look good, so I have tried a lot of hair products over the years!! |
