Wondering what other clubs have done? We paid the entire year and no mention of credits or refund. It’s about 1/3 so close to $1000.
On one hand I’m ok with losing some money to keep the program afloat. On the other if he’s not paying the pools for time, I’m not. Thoughts? |
Our club in MD (a smaller one not in MoCo) has not sent any information about credits or refunds. It's been radio silence! We paid for the entire year in the fall, so everything was pre-paid. Since we are staying with the club next year, I don't need a refund, but would at least like to see a credit for the months we didn't swim. |

Our club said they would be refunding the pool lane rental money for the time out of the water. Which is not that much, really, when you divide by all the kids in the lane. Probably less than 200 dollars total.
I'm sure if someone complained enough, they'd refund the portion that went to paying coaches, but I hope not too many people do that unless they truly need the money. |

Have heard of possible credit applied towards next year's fees.
I don't know if clubs got refunded by (or didn't pay) the pools for the closure period . |
| Everyone got $200 back from our club. |
| Our club offered choice of a partial refund or donation back to the club. |
| We received a refund for long course season. |
| We received a credit for next season. It was more than what I expected. Honestly, I did not expect anything. |
| Our club is giving a refund. |
| Ours will be but waiting to see if practice can resume at any point. |
| Radio silence here too (NCAP). A partial refund or credit or something would be appreciated. |
|
York offered a partial credit for next season based on the number of days you practice. Or, you could donate the money.

| Haven't heard anything from FISH, and I've been underwhelmed with their COVID "programming." Not expecting anything, but definitely not going back next year. |
Fish emailed about refunding $200 per account awhile ago. Not sure what you think the covid19 program could be... |
