Do you put up school pictures somewhere in your house? Where do display them? And do you have every year displayed (my kids are now middle schoolers)? All my kids pictures go into a plastic storage bin in the guest room closet. Seems like a waste. I don’t even give the wallets away to grandparents anymore. |
Upstairs hallway might be good for those |
Current year wallet size on the side of the fridge, otherwise no. |
Same here except on our kitchen bulletin board. |
We put the class pix in frames and hang them along the stairwell to the basement. We paid money for the pictures. We might as well put them somewhere we can enjoy them! |
DH's home office. 2 kids. An 8 X 10 in a frame on a shelf. Changed the picture out each year. |
We don’t currently but would also like to find a place for them. My mom would put mine and my siblings in 8x10 frames on the wall going up the stairs. She would switch them out every year with the new photo. |
We display the current picture in 8x10 frames on a shelf in the living room. |
I don't - I get them taken to support the school and so dd can be in the yearbook, but the pictures I take of her look so much better and so much like *her* that I display and share those instead. I'm not a fan of the forced expressions and postures that the company our school uses goes with. |
Agreed. I only order Senior pictures. I take first day of school pictures myself. I like having both kids in 1 shot. |
My mom has this in our childhood home, and I always thought everyone did this. But my DH thought it was hilarious. Although it could have been our series of home-grown crooked bowl cuts he was really laughing at... |
Mine is still young so we keep ours in the main living area, just to get her to talk about her friends and day at school. |
I've never thought my kids look at cute in school pictures as they do in the ones we take, plus I enjoy having some of the whole family together or just the kids together. We order some because my in-laws have those frames where they have a picture of each grandkid from K-12. I personally hate those, but to each their own. |
I ordered the picture for K and put it on one of the bookshelves. I haven't purchased any in the five years since. They're okay, but not worth the money. |
