Rare inflammatory Kawasaki-like disease in kids

This mysterious seems to be increasing in New York… I wonder if this will affect school openings. Seems to be very hard to identify symptoms until it’s serious. Just wanted to hear others’ thoughts as we track this

Remember when we only had 30 cases of COVID.. those were the good ole days.

This is the thing that is scariest to me about the whole pandemic so far. How it might impact children and what impacts we still don't understand.

Most recently now 64 cases (and continuing to rise) in New York, and NY Dept of Health is formally noting potential link to COVID-19.

I have a student with Kawasaki. She has continued to have these fevers and inflammation on and off her entire life. Unfortunately it has affected her cognitive abilities and she is now in a life skills class in middle school. Sad.
