Vegetable broth or bullion cubes

Anonymous
In Europe this summer I bought some excellent organic veg bullion cubes that were fairly low in salt and didn't have any extraneous additives. I intended to save the box so I could find them somewhere here, but DH recycled it. Can anyone recommend a similar product? At home I use my own stock, but these are great for rented houses and camping. Thanks!

Have you tried Better Than Bouillon?

I was also going to recommend Better Than Bullion

OP here. Yes, I've tried it but I'd rather avoid the additives. I think the brand I used in Europe was Kallo.

I use Penzey's (it's a paste you add to water or other liquids), but I'm sure it has additives. What was in the veggie bullion that it had NO additives??

It's certainly not as good as real vegetable stock, but you can get Rapunzel bouillon cubes at Yes! or maybe Whole Foods and they don't have a lot of strange stuff in them:

Were you using Knorr?

But IMO no bullion cube can compare to boxed stock, and no boxes stock can compare to homemade!

It was Kallo. Can't find them here, but would love to have them for camping. I don't like to backpack with containers or boxes of stock!

Knorr has a lot of msg. Ick. Whole Foods sells a really yummy veggie boullion but I cant remember the name. It's in a little greenish beige box.
