I just got a lot of Hanna rashguards for my soon to be 8 yr old. She's little (10 to 15th percentile). But they seem thin, not lined. Us she suppose to wear something underneath?
Her other bathing suits are lined (Speedo, Rufflebutts). Thanks!! |
Wouldn’t she wear them over a suit? I have boys and they do not wear anything under their unlined rash guard. I am an adult woman and I wear my rash guards over my swim suit. |
Once some nipple action started, around 10, DD started wearing a bikini top under the rash guard. |
My DD four either wears them over a swimsuit or with swim bottoms...usually just based on whatever is clean at the moment. We prefer just bottoms when they're clean because it makes potty trips way easier.
She's never gotten sunburned through a hanna rashguard |
weird, no Ive never put anything under them, DD is 4 |
Just wait! |
OP here. Thanks! So putting a bathing suit under makes for challenging bathroom breaks. And the Hanna are two piece matching, so I assumed they were just worn together (without anything under). I thought the point of a rash guard was instead of a bathing suit - just long sleeves to protect from the sun. |
At grades 2/3-the girls wear the rash guards over the top of a one piece or two piece bathing suit. |
do a tankini two piece style, then she just has to pull down the bottoms. |
I wear my rash guard over my swim top. I would imagine that most girls who are hitting puberty would do the same thing. I can see a younger girl just wearing the rash guard. My DS wears just the rash guard. |
ah - ok. that makes sense. I don't want her to be embarrassed (IF the pool ever opens). thanks! |
This! |
My 8yo wears nothing underneath. |
My 8yo wears nothing underneath, she wears them with boy swim shorts.
She doesnt have any chest bumps yet. |
My 7yo wears them with nothing underneath. As we get closer to puberty, I imagine that will change, but for right now, it's just the rashguard and swim bottoms. |
