Title says it all. Interested to hear from other breastfeeding moms in particular.
I’m pregnant with #2 and anxious to get my body feeling back to “normal”. I was about a size 8 before pregnancy so not terribly skinny but comfortable. I gained about 35 with #1 and anticipate I will end up about the same this time. I lost much of the weight in the first month or so with #1 and interested to hear how others have “planned”. Not looking to get super skinny but looming forward to some normalcy I guess |
| I lost my baby weight naturally via breastfeeding. I was back to my pre-pregnancy weight by 2 months post-partum. |

| Immediately. Not thst I was starting the treadmill as soon as I got home but I was watching what I was eating. For both my babies, I lost the most until around 6 months then when their intake decreased with solids, my appetite didn't adjust any and I gradually began gaining again. |
| 12 months when I weaned with the first. The last 10 lbs just melted off. With the second I'm at 8 months and she is a chubby baby and my milk is all fat but now I'm stress eating. Hopefully she will wean around a year and I'll be less hungry. |
| I didn’t lose all my weight until after I stopped BFing. Caloric intake and hormones kept the last few pounds on. |

| Never had to. Weight just fell off and then some with breastfeeding. Of course 10 lbs came back as soon as I stopped. |
| Didn’t bother between #1 and #2. First breastfed and wouldn’t STTN consistently until 19 months and I was pregnant again at 22 months postpartum. I’m 6 months out from the second and breastfeeding didn’t work out this time and he sleeps better so I would definitely be going to the gym now if it were open. |
| Immediately but fat lot of good it did me to “try.” Swear there was some sort of hormonal thing blocking me. One year after firstborn was born it just fell off. |

Finally got organized and made a plan to lose the last 15 pounds about 12 months after my last baby was born. (Ended up losing 20 pounds counting macros and working out 3x week!)

| About a year, when I stopped breastfeeding. I lost consistently until then and got back to my pre pregnancy weight without even trying 10 months post partum. But then I started gaining weight when I stopped breastfeeding. |
| I have had 3 kids and lost almost all of the pregnancy weight with each kid but had an extremely hard time doing so while breastfeeding. I was constantly starving while BFing and couldn’t lose anything until after I weaned each time. |
