| I’ve always had pretty fine eyebrows but in the past year or so, I’ve noticed that they’ve gotten SO fine and nearly invisible. Toward the “base” eg the part by by nose they are visible and pretty full — same color as my hair, light brown — but as they move outward they devolve into nothingness. I SUCK at drawing them on, it looks like crap (yes I’ve watched tutorials, gotten lessons etc-still don’t like how they look). I’m looking for something more permanent. What do you suggest? Is this something microblading would help with? Thanks! |

Same here. I wouldn't say my tails are non existant but sparse for sure. I've thought about microblading too for just the tails but I am too chicken.
I've had good results with a product called GrandeBrow. It takes about 4 months to see results though and once things regrow, you have to continue using it every few days or so to maintain |

Yes, microblading would help. Just make sure to go to someone who does natural looking work.
In these times, I might try dying them a shade darker, or even your own shade if you think that might pick up some lighter baby hairs that would "add" to the tails. |
| This happened to me. I stopped touching them for weeks at a time and worked with a threader. I looked ridiculous for a few months but now my eyebrows are amazing and have been for ten years. Quarantine would have been a great time to stop plucking. |

Old age.

| How do you dye them? |
| I would also have your primary care doc check your thyroid if you haven't had it checked recently. |
I use just for men beard and mustache. Mix up a little of the color and developer, put it on for 5 minutes with a q tip or old mascara wand, leave on for 5 minutes. It’s so easy and the $8 box gets me at least 4 applications. |
| What are you using to draw then on with? Maybe the problem is the product. I like Beau Brow by Sephora a lot - vs Anastasia and other pencils and powders that I’ve tried. |
When things open up, Benefit brow bar at Ulta will do it. |
My 20 year daughter has the problem too. She’s gotten good at filling them in. Glossier boy brow is her favorite product. |
I suggest having your thyroid checked also. My brows were great until I became hypothyroid. Losing the outer parts of brows is a sign of thyroid issues. I was just looking into microblading before covid. |
Or years of over plucking. I over-plucked from 8th-12th grade and have been filling in my tails since my 20s. I’m 36. My daughter has full beautiful dark eyebrows and I’m going to hide the tweezers when she hits middle school |
| I started taking hair, skin, and nail vitamins because I felt like my hair was thinning. When I'm consistent my hair and nails grow faster, and my eyebrows look fuller. I think the tails are usually the first part to appear thin and mine have filled back in. |
| I have same problem and found that the Chantecaille eyebrow pencil (not a fine tip) is really natural looking! |
