
Here is an interesting 2008 video of Scott Brown, the Republican candidate for Senate in the special election next Tuesday:
He seems to think Obama may be illegitimate, based, I suppose, on the "missing" birth certificate, and that this "fact" is as relevant to Obama's moral standing as Bristol's pregnancy is to Palin's. Don't get me wrong, my idea of family values does not include condemning Palin, or even her daughter, for the pregnancy. But to imply that there is some parallel between Obama's role in his mother's pregnancy and Palin's role in Bristol's is stupid. And bringing it up without a shred of evidence is downright sleazy. Do you suppose this will affect the election? |
