EDP or National League would be better for Northern Virginia teams

Probably can play EDP in the spring if this league is just in the fall. Pretty good group of teams there and not horrific travel.

League is basically same as DA with better backing. I was surprised they could pull it off because I am a skeptic but they did. The smartest move was about hs and why DA was so insistent on that rather then letting parents decide was their downfall.

You say better backing. The fed mismanaged the DA for sure, but one thing they did was spend money on it. It's not clear to me where that money comes from for GAL, and if the same niceties will be there. I will be curious to hear what our club fees come out to be including showcases. It is hard to gauge the relative value at this point in GAL development.

Time will tell but this league seems to have better EIQ. They have already made better decisions that work for kids. I hated the sub rules. Was so hard to breakthrough and created bad feelings on the team.

Maybe they should copy ECNL business model and create a GAL2 league?
