I need to model this behavior myself. I wish I could somehow cut off the electricity in the house at 9:30pm so we would all just stop!

We actually unplug the wifi around 9pm in our house to cut off DD's ipod AIM.

We also set-up time limits on our Verizon account for her texting to cut off. I always wonder why more parents don't do this.

Wow. My kids are young so I don't have to deal with this stuff yet. Good ideas, though. I've also heard of parents who take away the cell phone at night at bed time.

We had the computers networked.. ds's access was cut off at 10PM. The cell phone then came upstairs and he had to go to bed.

However, even with strict bed-times until he was 18 and finished high school he still suffers from depression. He gets insomnia, headaches, upset stomach etc.

Love this idea too. Will use it when DC get old enough!
