Can you recommend a good dry shampoo?

Anonymous
I would like to try a dry shampoo to get me a day or so longer without shampooing- my hair doesn't limp or grease that fast and I have a lot of hair so it takes me a while to style.. would appreciate any recommendations (or share experiences) with dry shampoos. thanks!

if your hair is blonde, use baby power. sprinkle on and brush out.

dry shampoo by Klorane. google for more info but they sell it at Rodman's on Wisconsin avenue. It is French so is not easily available.

I just read about one that Sephora sells. It's called Pronto and it's supposed to work well.

Pssst.......its at CVS on the bottom shelf of the shampoo section. works great and its cheap. The retro red-white-blue can is kind of cool, too.

Bumble and Bumble used to make one that I still have. Not sure if they still make it.

The one made by Ojon is great. I have used Klorane and Ojon is better. You can get it at Sephora or Beauty.com.

I've used Bumble and Bumble, but do not like it. Agree with PP that if you have lighter hair baby powder works like a charm.

Which one?

The name of the product is "Psssst".

After googling it to get that link, it appears that it is also available in colors (i.e. blonde, brunette...)

I went to CVS looking for this tonight. Btw, there are some interesting shampoos on the bottom self - that horse tail and mane stuff? Shampoo that allegedly has placenta? No dry shampoo though.

PP --- keep at it. Glover Park CVS had it the other day. It is often sold out.

I have dark brown hair and have been successful with baby powder (corn starch). Just brush really well so you don't look like you grayed overnight. I use a brush with both natural bristles and the spiky ones. Sometimes I put the baby powder on the brush rather than directly on my hair. My hair is also straight, so I can't vouch for how well it would work on curly hair that you don't want to brush as hard (wouldn't that make it poufy?).
